Box Score Marion, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Men's Basketball team (8-3) struggled on the road Saturday afternoon, losing to NAIA 21st ranked Indiana Wesleyan (9-3) by a score of 86-52. It was a tough start with a 13-point run for the Wildcats before sophomore guard
Tanguy Touze broke the silence with a deep ball at 14:55 in the first half.
Indiana Wesleyan would peak at a 39-point lead over the Pilots with 4:48 left to go in the second half.
Senior
Drew Lutz lead the team with 19 points, shooting 41% from the floor, which is his fourth game in a row shooting above 40%.
The Pilots as a team struggled from the perimeter, making only 5 of 27 three-pointers for the game. Lutz and Touze combined for all five triples on the afternoon.
The battle off the glass didn't look any better for Bethel as they grabbed only 24 boards compared to Indiana Wesleyan's 43. The loss dropped Bethel's all-time record in Luckey Arena to 6-15.

- The Pilots allowed 14 second chance points and 17 points off turnovers.
- Bethel as a team shot 33% from the floor, which is their lowest of the season.
- The offense also had a season low of seven assists and lowest overall scoring with 52 points.

The Pilots come home for a short homestand against the Governors State Jaguars on Monday, Dec. 12 for their first home game since Dec. 3 in the win over Taylor University.
