Sioux City, Iowa --- Playing their Crossroads League foe Taylor University for the 4
th time this year, the Bethel Pilots avenged their Crossroads League Tournament loss from three weeks ago, this time on the big stage in Pool E of the NAIA National Tournament, sweeping the Trojans 3-0.
Cheyanne Seymour led the offense with 12 kills on only two errors for the match.
Maddy Payne was the only other Pilot who surpassed double-digit scoring with 11 points on seven kills.
Senior
Madyson Beaver gave an amazing effort, with 23 assists and coupled her performance with eight kills.
The Pilots dominated the nets outperforming Taylor 12 blocks to seven. Junior libero
Jackelin Fernandez led the defense with 12 digs out of the teams total 48.
Each set was a nail biter with no more than a five-point lead in any part of the match with Bethel winning 25-22 in set one, 25-20 in set two and 25-21 in set three.
With the win, the Pilots will wait anxiously for the matchup between Taylor and Corban on Dec. 2 at 5:00 PM. If Taylor wins there is a three-way tie in the Pool and a single-elimination playoff will begin. If Corban defeats Taylor, then Corban will move out of Pool E and the Pilots' season will be over.

NEXT TIME OUT
- The Pilots wait to see the results of the match between Taylor (Ind.) and Corban (Ore.) to see if a tiebreaker is needed, which Bethel needs to advance. If Taylor defeats Corban there will be a three-way 1-1 tie and a playoff will take place, comparable to a single-elimination bracket with one team starting with a bye.
