Box Score Indianapolis, Ind.--- The NAIA RV Bethel University Women's Volleyball team put up a fight but fell to #15 ranked Marian in five sets Wednesday night in Crossroads League action. Bethel came out sharp, winning the first set 25-19 but lost sets 2 and 3 (25-18 and 25-19). The Pilots were revived in the fourth set, winning 25-16 to force a deciding fifth, but couldn't finish the comeback, falling 15-11 in the fifth. Madyson Payne led BU with 18 kills, followed by Michaela Whitaker who had 11, while Jackelin Fernandez had 20 digs and Rachel Vendl with 14.
Bethel's overall record now stands at 18-10 and 10-6 in Crossroads League play.
