Coach Moodie is entering into his third year coaching for the Bethel Pilots. He started his coaching career at the College of the Redwoods in the spring of 2014, where he worked until the spring of 2022.
During his time as the Sprints/Jumps and Hurdles Coach, he coached 33 conference champions, 13 school-record holders, 9 All-Americans and 1 state champion. He also served as the Assistant Cross Country Coach.Â
During his tenure with the program, College of the Redwoods won 5 conference team championships (Men’s Track and Field 2016, Women’s Cross Country 2017, 2021, and Women’s Track and Field 2022). The 2022 Women's Track and Field Conference Championship was the first in the program's history.Â
 As an athlete, Moodie was a finalist in the Carifta Games in 2009, representing Jamaica on their 20U team, and still holds two school records in the 800-meter indoor, and 800-meter outdoor races at Mount Mercy University. He graduated from Mount Mercy University with a bachelor's degree in Business Management and Administration.
