Sina John, the Assistant Coach for the Bethel Pilots Women's Lacrosse team, brings a wealth of international experience and success to her role. Sina has been the coach of the Hannover Lacrosse Sixes team at DHC Hannover e.V. from 2022 to 2024, leading the team to become league champions in the North-East division in both 2023 and 2024. She also coached the Hannover Lacrosse second team from 2019 to 2020.
Sina's playing career is equally distinguished. She played for the DHC Hannover Lacrosse youth team from 2009 to 2012, winning the German youth league championship in 2011. Since 2012, Sina has been a key player for the DHC Hannover Lacrosse team in the 1st division, achieving multiple successes including being a German champion (2011, 2013-2016) and a division champion (2012-2018). She has served as the team captain since 2021.
On the international stage, Sina has been a player for the German national team since 2013. She was part of the U19 World Championships team in 2015 in Edinburgh, UK, where she received the top scorer award for most points (goals and assists combined). She also competed in the World Championship team in 2022 in Towson, USA, and was a member of the Sixes national team in 2023/24, placing 2nd in tournaments in Hong Kong and Faro, Portugal. Additionally, Sina was part of the 2024 European Championship field national team in Braga, Portugal, where the team placed 6th and qualified for the World Championships in 2026.
