Katie Snyder, the Assistant Coach for the Bethel Pilots Women's Lacrosse team, brings a wealth of experience and accolades to her role. As the creator of Maple City Lacrosse, Katie has been instrumental in developing youth lacrosse programs and nurturing young talent. Her coaching journey includes serving as a youth lacrosse coach and a volunteer student assistant for the University of Mount Olive Women’s Lacrosse Team.
Snyder played Women’s Lacrosse at Herkimer County Community College (HCCC) and the University of Mount Olive (UMO). During her time at HCCC, she was a two-time NJCAA All-American (2010, 2011) and was named the HCCC Female Athlete MVP of the Year in 2011. At UMO, Katie was part of a nationally ranked top 10 Division II team in 2015 and won the Conference Carolina Championship the same year. She earned numerous individual honors, including All-Conference 1st Team (2014, 2015), All-Tournament Team (2015), and selection to the 2015 All-Star South Squad. Additionally, she was recognized as an IWLCA All-Region South player and received the UMO Play of the Year Award in 2015.
