Kevin Brandy enters his first season with the Bethel women’s basketball program.
Brandy has a wealth of basketball experience from both his days as a player and from past coaching positions. After spending a season on the court as a player for the Bethel men’s basketball program, Brandy suffered a career-ending knee injury and turned his attention to coaching.
Brandy has coached at many levels, including IHSAA for both boys and girls and within the AAU circuit with Midwest Basketball Academy and now Hoosier Premier. Brandy made the move to the college game during the 2011-12 season when he served as the Director of Basketball Operations at NCAA DI Western Michigan University under former head coach Tasha McDowell.
After a one-year stint assisting at Penn High School under Coach Kristy Kaniewski-Ulrich, a former Lady Pilot great, Brandy co-founded Hoosier Premier Basketball, an AAU program dedicated to ensure the skill development of young players as it relates to basketball IQ, sportsmanship and athletic competition.
Kevin resides in Granger, Indiana with his wife, Amanda, and their three children: Kasen, Knixley and Kwinlynn.
