COLUMBUS, OH. - Bethel Women's Bowling competed at the Ohio Bowling Conference #1 of the season at the Columbus Bowling Palace on Saturday. The format was 3 team games followed directly by 12 Baker games.
The women had a rough day on the 42-foot, 32.7 ml, 1.72 to 1 oil pattern put out for the tournament. The ladies struggled to close frames on the extremely difficult pattern. After the Team event they found themselves in 10th place (of 12), being paced by Senior Alexandra Burkholder and her 27th place finish (of 73).
"The Ladies struggled on the pattern that just seemed to move all over the lane as the day progressed." Said Head Coach Chris Adams. "When they had issues getting the ball to the headpin, spare shooting was a premium today and the Ladies just could not execute."
