FORT WAYNE, Ind. (March 29, 2025) – The Bethel Pilots women's lacrosse team (5-4, 2-1) faced a tough challenge against the No. 9 Indiana Tech Warriors (8-2, 4-0), falling 16-8 in a competitive match on Saturday.

Indiana Tech's Noelle Ricci opened the scoring at 14:17 in the first quarter, assisted by Michelle Farrell. Ricci and Farrell continued to dominate, with Ricci scoring again at 10:54, and Farrell contributing multiple goals and assists throughout the game. The Warriors quickly built a 4-0 lead before Bethel's Addi Jones, assisted by Megan Williams, put the Pilots on the board at 6:49 in the first quarter.

Despite a strong effort from Bethel, including goals from Chloe Harding, Serenity Kretschmer, Isabell Gerbrand, and Megan Williams, the Pilots were unable to overcome the Warriors' offensive onslaught. Michelle Farrell was a standout for Indiana Tech, scoring multiple unassisted goals and leading her team to victory.

The Pilots showed resilience, narrowing the gap to 5-11 in the third quarter with goals from Gerbrand and Harding. However, Indiana Tech's relentless attack, led by Farrell and supported by teammates like Lauren Hainlin and Da'Zah Regusters, secured the win.

Bethel's final goal came from Megan Williams, assisted by PJ Pearson, at 4:22 in the fourth quarter, bringing the score to 8-14. Indiana Tech sealed their victory with two more goals in the final minutes.

The Pilots prepare for the Madonna Crusaders on Saturday, April 5, with a time to be announced at the MU Soccer and Lacrosse Field in Livonia, Mich.
