GOSHEN, Ind. --- In another renewal of the US Highway 20 Cup, the Bethel Pilots (1-2, 1-2) fell to the Goshen Maple Leafs (2-0, 2-0) on Saturday.
The Pilots won the doubles point from
Victor Bonsergent and
Martin Gaviria in one doubles (6-1),
Santiago Flores and
Nicolo Marchetti in two doubles (6-2), and
Daniel Jancic and
Paulo Reis (6-4).
Bonsergent won the one singles point that went to three games 4-6, 6-2, 6-3, and
Nicolo Marchetti won the four singles point 6-3, 1-6, 6-3.
NEXT TIME OUT
The Pilots host the Huntington Foresters on Monday, Sept. 9 for a noon opening serve at Ward Baker Park.
