Megan Bishop takes medalist honor as Women's Golf punches their ticket to the NCCAA National Championship

SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- The Pilots continued their tradition of making it to the NCCAA National Championship in Palm Coast, Fla. with Megan Bishop taking the Medalist Honor with a close shootout with teammate Ainsley Myer.


Freshman Megan Bishop (79-74) birdied 2 of her last 3 holes to win Regional Player-of-the-year, defeating teammate Aynslee Myer (77-77) by one shot. Bishop and Myer were joined on the All-Region team by Selah Unwin (81-78). The regional championship was the 13th straight for the Bethel ladies as they head to the NCCAA National Championship in an attempt to win their 4th straight national title.

The Pilots host the Rumble at the Rock at Rock Hollow Golf Course in Peru, Ind. on Sept. 20-21.
