MISHAWAKA, Ind. --- In a tightly contested US Highway 20 Cup matchup with the Goshen Maple Leafs (11-11, 5-8) in the Gates Gymnasium, the Bethel Pilots (8-12, 3-10) fell 3-1 in their third loss in a row against the Maple Leafs in the overall series.
Arthur Barreto led the Pilots with 12 kills and hit at a .222 hitting percentage and seven digs. Erik Malek had 11 digs, and McGwire Eigenrauch had 10 digs for the pilot defense, which accounted for 21 of the 52 pilot digs.
Goshen served 14 service aces to the Pilots, nine of whom came from Hasan Gadzic.
