SOUTH BEND, Ind. --- It was Senior Day at Blackthorn Golf Course and Bethel's two seniors,
Maria Pardo Victori and
Taeyon Kwon shined in a big way with Kwon winning Medalist honors, while Pardo Victori finished as runner-up individually.
The day was highlighted when Taeyon made a hole-in-one on her 17
th hole of the day. The hole-in-one was the first ever in the storied history of the Bethel women's program and led to a +2 score of 74 for the senior from Seoul, South Korea.
Pardo Victori carried the Pilots on Day 1 with a remarkable 76 in horrible conditions as Bethel's team score of 322 gave them a 31 shot lead going into the final round.
Aynslee Myer was equally impressive on Saturday, matching Kwon's 74 and finishing third overall in the tournament.
Selah Unwin was next with a 79 in round 2 and a spot on the All-Tournament team in 4
th place overall.
The win was the 6
th of the season for NAIA #25 Bethel, as they head to the Ackerman Allen Invitational on Monday, April 15
th and then to the Crossroads League Championship on April 28-29.
