SOUTH BEND, Ind. ---Led by the stellar play of Nico Sabogal,
Jonah Kumfer and
Earl Williams, the Pilots fought their way through the difficult conditions of Day 1 and finished strong on Day 2 to win the Pilot Invitational at Blackthorn Golf Club.
Sabogal finished the tournament tied for the lead as he fired a Day 2 even par 72 and although he lost medalist honors in a playoff, his 76-72 scores paved the way for a 7-stroke win over second place Cornerstone University.
Kumfer and Williams tied for 3
rd place overall with two-day totals of 150 and both secured a spot with Sabogal on the All-Tourney team.

The Pilots now head to Purdue University for the Ackerman-Allen Invitational on April 15, and then to the Crossroads League Championship on May 6-7.
