INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots (8-7, 4-4) were defeated by #9 Marian University (8-4, 6-1) 19-7 in their last regular season matchup.
Marian's offense took control in the first as they outscored the Pilots 8-1.
The Pilots' best quarter was the third when they scored four goals, two from Lydia Andrews and Isabell Gerbrand.
Brea Larrison scored the final goal for the Pilots in the 4th to make it 17-7 Marian, but the Knights scored two more to win the game 19-7.
Bethel stated more draw controls (15-13), but Marian had more ground balls (25-19) and shots (30-12).
Addi Jones scored twice and led the team in ground balls with four.
