GILBERT, Ari. --- The Bethel Men's Volleyball team (5-8, 0-6) took down Park University Gilbert (0-9, 0-4) in three sets in their last Arizona game Thursday night.
Bethel started a gradual lead into the first set with kills from Arthur Barreto and Andre Parra and ended up by five (15-10).
A 10-5 run, caused by multiple errors by Park-Gilbert, gave Bethel the first set win (25-15).
The Pilots started the second set down 2-0 but then found a run of their own and took a 13-7 lead. They kept the pressure up, and Park-Gilbert continued to have errors in the set, which gave Bethel another 25-15 win.
Like the second set, Bethel went down 2-0 but grabbed the lead quickly and took control of the set.
Marcos Henrike, Niko Apostolou, Barreto, and Broder's kills helped the Pilots sweep their opponent 3-0.
