UPLAND, Ind. --- The Bethel Pilots Women's Soccer ended in their sixth tie this season with a 1-1 draw against the Taylor Trojans in a close match at Turner Stadium Saturday.
The game started with Taylor pushing aggressively, as Eliza Luttrell found the net in the 36th minute, assisted by Kiana Siefert, giving Taylor a 1-0 lead going into halftime.

Lauren Gatewood, managed multiple saves throughout the first half to keep Taylor's advantage minimal.
In the second half, Bethel responded with increased intensity. The equalizing moment came in the 58th minute when
Chloe Baker, assisted by
Leena Thomas, scored, leveling the match at 1-1. Both teams continued to press for a winner, with Bethel's Gatewood making crucial saves in the final minutes to keep the game even. Bethel's overall record now stands at 6-4-6, with a Crossroads League record of 0-3-1.
Bethel's next match is scheduled for Wednesday, October 30, at 6:00 p.m. against the Grace Lancers in Winona Lake, Ind. They aim to break their two-game tie streak and secure a crucial win in Crossroads League play.
