ASHLAND, Neb. — The Bethel Pilots women's cross-country team placed 23rd out of 27 teams at the Blazing Tiger NAIA Classic on Saturday at Mahoney State Park.
Anna Enderle led the Pilots with a standout performance, recording the fourth fastest time in program history at 23:18.2 to secure 48th place. Hannah Frump tied the 23rd fastest time in program history with a 25:05.0 finish, placing 149th, while Elaina Schwendenmann closely followed with a time of 25:06.0 for 151st place.
Emma Maxwell achieved a personal record (PR) with a time of 26:13.6, finishing 217th. Jessica Tonkin also set a PR, running 28:27.6 to place 280th, and Amelia Combs rounded out the PRs with a time of 29:13.2.
Notably, both Hannah Frump and Elaina Schwendenmann met the NCCAA individual qualifying standard for the NCCAA National Championship in Warsaw, Ind.
The Pilots will next compete in the Crossroads League Championship on Friday, Nov. 8, at 10:30 a.m. at the TUXC Farm at Taylor University in Indiana.
