SPRING ARBOR, Mich. --- The Bethel Pilots Women's Soccer team (4-3-1, 0-1-0) fell to the reigning NAIA National Champions, Spring Arbor, 4-1 on Saturday.
The Cougars dominated the first half with an early goal in the 10th minute by Regan Ramirez, who scored off the assist by Lauren Marshall.
Lauren Marshall connected with Malina Marshall in the 30th minute to give Spring Arbor a 2-0 lead going into halftime.
In the 55th minute, Giulia Franco found the net to get the Pilots within one goal of the Cougars, but minutes later, Spring Arbor's Kaylee Beekel connected with Ariana Stoltzfus to answer back and return to a two-point lead.
In the match's final minutes, the Cougar's Jocelyn Hendricks struck the final goal and secured the 4-1 victory.
