HASTINGS, Minn. --- The 24th-ranked Bethel Pilots Women's Golf team won the NCCAA North-Central Region Championship for the eighth year in a row by a final score of 327-323 (650).
The Pilots won with a 48-stroke padding, with Northwestern (Minn.) being the team runner-up of the five-team field.
Taeyon Kwon, Aynslee Myer, and Maria Pardo Victori took control of the top three, with Kwon earning Medalist Honors and NCCAA North-Central Region Player of the Year.
Aynslee Myer took runner-up with a final score of 83-77 and earned the NCCAA All-Region honor; Maria Pardo Victori also earned NCCAA All-Region honors in her third-place finish and posted a score of 82-82.
Chris Hess was awarded the NCCAA North-Central Region Coach of the Year for the ninth time in his coaching career.

The Pilots host The Battle at Blackthorn on Sept. 29-30 in South Bend, Ind., at Blackthorn Golf Club. Last season, Women's Golf won the tournament out of a field of eight teams and was the fourth tournament win in a row of the 2022-23 campaign.
