Box Score ELGIN, Ill. --- The Bethel University Women's Basketball team (4-7, 0-3) won their second game in a row as they defeated Judson University (1-9, 1-3) on the road 66-45 Wednesday night.
The Pilots got off to a slow start in the first as they found themselves down12-7 with 4:35 left. A
Faith Davis three-pointer and a
Nyla Asad layup spiked the offense and put them in attacking position for the next quarter.
A three-pointer from
Kallie Harrison started the second quarter, and Asad hit two at the line, followed by a layup that gave the pilots a two-point lead at 5:55.
The third quarter was when the separation started due to Asad,
Caroline Morris, and
Maiah Shelton all knocking down shots. A
Shayla Alexander free throw ended the third quarter with the Pilots up 45-39.
The Pilots dominated the fourth quarter as they went up by 10 at 5:06 with a
Mariah Claywell jump shot. Four made free throws at the end of the quarter, two from Asad and
Alaysia Stewart, put a stamp on the Pilots second win in a row as they won 66-45 on the road.
Nyla Asad led the Pilots with 25 points, just two off her career and season high.
Kallie Harrison had nine points and four steals, and
Maiah Shelton also had nine points with five rebounds.

• Bethel earned 35 points off turnovers to Judson's 11.
• The Pilots shot 40.4% from the floor and 73.9% from the free throw line.
