KISSIMMEE, Fl.--- The Women's Soccer team defeated the Redeemer Royals 1-0 on Tuesday, sending them to the program's first NCCAA National Championship.

The Pilots led the first half, outshooting the Royals 7-3 with two Pilot shots on frame.

Chloe Crompton had an opportunity in front of the net on a cross but missed high in the 43rd minute.

In the 64th minute, Leena Thomas sent a corner kick into the box hea,ded by Aubrey Vervynckt but was saved by Royals' keeper Libby Dendekker. Onalee Gustafson fired with her left foot and scored off the rebound for her second goal this season.

ON TO THE CHAMPIONSHIP

The Pilots will play the winner of Pool B for the program's first NCCAA National Championship on Friday, Dec. 1, at 6 p.m. EST. Columbia International Rams (SC) is the current leader with one win, and SAGU plays Regent University at 3:30 p.m. Suppose SAGU wins against Regent and Columbia International. In that case, the Pilots will see SAGU on Friday, but if Columbia International wins against SAGU on Wednesday, the Rams will move on to Friday.
