Mishawaka, Ind. ---Turnovers once again were the downfall for the Pilots as they fell to NAIA #8 Marian University, 80-53 Wednesday night at the Wiekamp Center.
Bethel jumped out to their only lead in the first 3 minutes of the game, 6-5, but a Marian 18-point run gave the visitors 23-6 advantage to close the quarter and Bethel would get no closer the rest of the game. For the night, the Pilots had 22 turnovers that led to 35 points for the Knights, while Bethel managed only 10 points off the Marian miscues.
Senior
Katie Kinker scored 14 on the night to lead the Pilots in scoring, followed by Miah Shelton with nine.
Abby Williams added 8 points and 7 rebounds in support.
The Pilots fall to 4-7 in regular season play and are now 0-3 in the Crossroads League.

- Bethel will be taking on Taylor University at 1:00 p.m. in the Gates Gymnasium on Dec. 3rd at 1:00 p.m.
