Elgin, IL. --- The Bethel University Women's Soccer season came to an end after losing 3-1 to Judson
University in the semi-finals of the NCCAA North-Central Regional Tournament, Wednesday afternoon at
Judson.
The game was neck and neck in the first half, with the Pilots outshooting the Eagles 6-3, but no shots
found the net and the two teams went into intermission scoreless.
Judson broke the scoreless game with their first goal in the second half in the 53rd minute by Kelly Leon.
The Eagles would continue to pull away after an own goal by the Pilots in the 59th minute and another
goal scored by Judson's Mireyah Macias in the 62nd minute.
Bethel's lone goal came in the 67th minute by sophomore Jordan Mihut, who was assisted by senior
Audrey Lerch.
The loss ended a very successful season for the Pilots who finished the season 7-8-4. The 7 wins and
.474 winning percentage are both the best in the program's last 16 seasons and the birth in the NCCAA
North Central Regional is the first since 2012.
