Mishawaka, Ind--- It was Senior Night for the Bethel University women's soccer team Saturday night at Morey Field and the Pilots battled NAIA #4 ranked Spring Arbor for much of the game, before losing 4-1.
After a goal from SAU in the 19
th minute, freshman Lenna Thomas crashed the net as the ball rebounded off the keeper and knotted the game at 1-1 in the 20
th minute. The Pilots had a very strong first half trailing just 2-1 at the intermission. But the second half was all Cougars, who added 2 goals to complete the victory.
The Pilots regular season record ends with a record of 7-6-4, while their Crossroads League record stands at 3-5-1, a 7
th place finish in the league.
